After renewing his exclusive contract with GMA Network on Aug. 8, leading man Juancho Triviño said that he is now looking forward to starting another fruitful journey as a Kapuso.
The 26-year-old actor is grateful for the trust that the network has been giving him for the past seven years.
“I’m very thankful for the trust they gave me. I’ve been with them since the very beginning of my career. There’s no place I’d rather be than GMA, it feels like home. I couldn’t imagine being elsewhere,” he said.
Juancho recalled quite the journey he took to get to where he is at right now. From modeling and venturing to being a host, to now top-billing GMA’s upcoming Afternoon Prime series Madrasta where he will be paired with actresses Arra San Agustin and Thea Tolentino.
“I have a long way to go, Madrasta is just the start, marami pa akong kailangang patunayan. More importantly, I need to portray my character well,” he shared.
To show full support for Juancho, present during the signing of his exclusive contract with the network were GMA bigwigs including Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Redgie A. Magno, Gigi Santiago-Lara, Cheryl Ching-Sy, Ali Nokom Dedicatoria, and Cathy Ochoa Perez, and Juancho’s co-manager Maristel Sampedro.
Rasonable said that GMA will continue to provide quality projects for Juancho. She also praised his growth and improvements in his craft, “We’re very glad that he feels that way because he’s a homegrown talent. He’s like a son to us, and when you see your son doing great in his chosen field, it makes you feel very proud.”
