Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Director Atty. Juan Lorenzo Tañada served as a panelist for the Corporate Leaders in Renewable Energy talk during the Asian Power and Energy Summit, held at the SMX Convention Center.
The shift to renewable energy is part of Coca-Cola's key thrusts and seven out of 19 of Coca-Cola’s manufacturing sites—Sta. Rosa, Canlubang, Ilocos, Pangasinan, Cebu, Pampanga, and Meycauayan—have already integrated renewable energy into their operations.
This has resulted in more than 50% of Coca-Cola’s total energy consumption being derived from renewable energy. Coca-Cola is working to be at the forefront of energy sustainability, with the goal of being best in class in CLEAN energy use ratio in Southeast Asia by 2023. Coca-Cola’s energy-saving initiatives are making it possible for Coca-Cola to further grow its business, with the Company being able to produce more beverages while consuming less energy.
