Japanese restaurant Kitsho welcomes appetite of all sizes with its special offering—three types of bento boxes.
Available in August, diners can order the mini bento, special “take” bento, and deluxe matsu.
Great for quick chow during lunch breaks, the mini bento box, priced at P350, comes in two choices: Chicken Karaage and Pork Tonkatsu.
The Chicken Karaage mini bento box is served with Japanese rice, vegetable salad, black seaweed, takana, and fresh fruits. The Pork Tonkatsu mini bento box, on the other hand, comes with Japanese rice, vegetable salad, kanbu, kurisuke, and fresh fruits.
The mini bento box is available for dine-in or takeout.
Meanwhile, the 582-peso special “take” bento box is a complete meal-in-one as it consists of tuna and white fish sashimi, Japanese omelet, boiled spinach with sesame sauce, and a choice of sautéed pork, chicken teriyaki, or grilled mackerel as main course.
This option is served with Japanese rice, miso soup, and assorted fresh fruits.
For bigger appetite, the deluxe matsu is the ideal option. Valued at P1,000, it comes with three kinds of sashimi as appetizer, a side dish of agedashi tofu, and a steamed dish of chawanmushi.
The deluxe box is also served with fresh green salad, sweet egg roll, boiled spinach with sesame sauce, Japanese rice, miso soup, and assorted fresh fruits or homemade ice cream for dessert.
All bento boxes’ prices are VAT inclusive.
Diners and their guests who want to sample more than the bento boxes could opt for the a la carte buffet, wherein every dish is served fresh as ordered. The lunch buffet is priced at P1,356 while the dinner buffet is valued at P1,536. Both meal prices are likewise VAT inclusive.
