Star Magic artist Sue Ramirez explains that Loisa Andalio’s non-inclusion as a special guest in her upcoming concert titled Rock Chic doesn’t mean that things are not okay between the two of them.
“My friendship with her is back to normal after the controversy we figured into two years ago,” she says.
Tongues started to wag when the list of guests was revealed and it included Maris Racal and Kristel Fulgar whom, together with Loisa, collaborated for a concert with Sue in 2014 titled, 4 of a Kind.
“I hope people won’t put color into it. A limit was set in the number of guests who will appear in the concert. I can’t have seven guest performers,” Sue explains.
According to the singer-actress, only those who are close to her were considered.
“It was largely based on the level of closeness, I guess. Well, everyone knows that Loisa and I have been estranged for quite some time though everything is settled now. Besides, I’m really closer to Maris and Kristel so I want to keep it as a concert that is very close to my heart,” she points out.
“In fact, Michael (Pangilinan) who is another close friend of mine will be part of the line-up as well. But as I’ve said, it doesn’t mean that things are not okay between me and Loisa. Truth is we’re good. Actually, I suggested her to be part of the show but she didn’t make the cut. Perhaps, if the concert is being planned at this point, Loisa will surely be part of it,” she adds.
It can be remembered that two years ago, Sue and Loisa had a tiff. Reports have it that the latter allegedly unfollowed the former in Instagram because of Ronnie Alonte. The two girls were being linked to Ronnie at that time but as everyone knows, it was Loisa and Ronnie who eventually became an item.
“I think what’s important is that Loisa and I are friends again. That thing in the past, we were able to overcome and I’m grateful. Finally, we talked about it and settled our differences. I’m happy with such development. It’s not a good thing if you’re carrying excess baggage in your system when you’re not good with someone and vice-versa.”
Since they’re okay now, some ask if she will again follow Loisa in her Instagram account.
“Well, in the first place, I didn’t unfollow her. It was only her who unfollowed me. But she said that of late, she followed me again. Actually, for me, it’s not a big thing. It’s just social media,” she ends.

Kapuso actress Andrea Torres admits she is under pressure now that her latest primetime series The Better Woman opposite Derek Ramsay has officially started airing.
“There is definitely pressure on my part because I want to deliver a convincing performance as twins who are bitter rivals in love. That’s where the pressure is coming,” she states.
How about when it comes to ratings? Isn’t she bothered with the fact that they’re competing with Angel Locsin’s The General’s Daughter over at ABS-CBN?
“Well, that’s also part of the pressure although I’ve already prepared myself on that. Yes, I’ve made myself ready with the ratings. What matters is that we’re doing our best to make the show enticing to viewers.”
This is her first time to be paired with Derek. How different is this project from her previous Kapuso programs?
“I think, The Better Woman has a very sexy theme. I did things here that are out of my comfort zone. I did many firsts for the show. As for Derek, my level of trust on him is so high. I’m both honored and challenged to be doing this project with him,” ends Andrea.
