For Maria Paz Alberto, planning a vacation should be as hassle-free as your perfect itinerary. The vice president of Travel Innovators, Inc. (TII) recommends that the solution to a “no worry and problem-free” travel is the perfect and trusted travel agent.
“A travel agent will patiently work with you in fixing your every vacation-related problem, whether its clearing up hotel reservations or booking a different flight. In an unforeseen emergency, travel agents can provide the much-needed assistance, something that the Internet will not be able to do,” asserts Alberto.
What makes TII different from other travel agencies is that they do not only suggest the popular tourist destination to be included in the traveler’s itinerary but also encourage them to take the road less traveled or the hidden local destinations that promote sustainable practices toward community-based tourism (CBT).
Under this initiative, TII and its member travel agencies are actively promoting the lesser known but equally captivating local attractions in the countryside. These least-visited places are tempting goals for the millennial generation whose adventures and exploits are always well documented and shared on social media.
“As the lead stakeholder from the private sector, we encourage more travelers to seek out more secret spots off the beaten track, especially those areas that let travelers soak up local culture and enjoy unique experiences. By supporting the small-scale CBT model, many local destinations have benefited from improved livelihood and additional income that lifts marginalized communities out of poverty,” explains Alberto.
Finally, in order to achieve travel goals, Alberto advises travelers to make sure that the agencies they deal with are valid institutions, such as the agencies present at the Travel Madness Expo 2019.
“The Travel Madness Expo 2019 is the one-stop shop that opens the doors to achieving your travel goals. Take advantage of surprising deals, big discounts, and competitive prices for both local and international destinations. Drop by the expo and find whatever it is that you are looking for. Make your dream vacation a reality,” says TII president and event organizer Raymond Tee.
The Travel Madness Expo is happening on July 5-7 at Halls 1-4 of SMX Convention Center. Guests can take advantage of amazing deals from participating airlines, hotels, resorts, cruises, theme parks, travel accessories, and travel agencies. Go to www.facebook.com/TravelMadnessPH for more information.
