A virtual unknown and last year’s two Philippine representatives to the Bowling World Cup international event headed the list of 52 bowlers who initially earned slots in the national finals by qualifying in the recent first center finals in different centers.
Ramon Camba, a long time bowler who has yet to bag a major keg crown, tallied 2642 pinfalls in 12 games at SM Fairview to lead the 35 men’s finalists.
Last year’s men’s national WBC champon Merwin Tan emerged second best performer by scoring 2618, while defending ladies’ titlist Alexis Sy led the ladies’ group with 1921 pinfalls in 10 games.

The men’s and ladies’ winners of the national finals will represent the Philippines in the 2019 Bowling World Cup international finals set Nov. 16-24 in Palembang, Indonesia.
