Francisco Oral Pagayon, a renown Filipino inventor, is one of this year’s “Ulirang Ama” awardees.
The Ulirang Ina Ama Awards Foundation Inc. pays tribute to model Filipino fathers and mothers who exemplify integrity, high moral principles and ideal ways of nurturing children.
Pagayon, or Popoy to his friends, is also known as an “inventrepinoy,” being an inventor and entrepreneur. He has received numerous accolades and recognitions for his various inventions and achievements. For the 2019 honor, he received the award under the “business and industry” category.
The celebration was held on June 16 at the Centennial Hall of the historic Manila Hotel.
