P&A Grant appoints two new partners

P&A Grant Thornton, one of the leading audit, tax, advisory and outsourcing firms in the Philippines,  named two new partners effective July 1, 2019—Endel Mata and Jerald Sanchez. 

Both gentlemen will be partners at the audit and assurance practice of the firm.

“I am sure that they will continue to contribute to bringing the firm to greater achievements in the years to come,”  Españo said.

Mata has been in public accounting since he started his career in 2007. He has more than a decade of experience in the financial statements audit of local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries. 

As part of P&A Grant Thornton’s global secondment program, Mata spent a year and a half at Grant Thornton LLP’s New York office. Mata recently completed his Master in Business Administration (from the Asian Institute of Management with distinction. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting with academic distinction from San Beda University – Manila.

Like Mata, JSanchez joined P&A Grant Thornton at the start of his career in 2007. He also has extensive experience in the financial statements audit of local and multinational companies in various industries. Sanchez facilitates training programs on the firm’s audit methodology and international financial reporting standards. 

Sanchez spent almost two years in Grant Thornton LLP’s San Francisco office as part of P&A Grant Thornton’s global secondment program. 

He recently completed his MBA at AIM and graduated magna cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in accountancy and business administration, major in financial and management accounting, from Holy Angel University.

As they both join the partnership of P&A Grant Thornton, Mata and Sanchez are committed to exploring and breaking new grounds in accounting and in the business community. They are also dedicated to delivering excellent service to their new clients.
