Parañaque-CAB deal

The Civil Aeronautics Board and the city government of Parañaque have signed a milestone agreement to simplify and integrate its licensing process. Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez and CAB Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla inked the deal witnessed by acting Director General Ernesto Perez of the Anti-Red Tape Authority and lawyer Melanie Malaya, head of the city’s Business Permits and Licensing Office, during the formal launching of Parañaque’s Project Express Lane Operation at the city hall. One of the system’s salient features is the elimination of securing permits from different barangays, previously a prerequisite before a mayor’s permit is granted.
