With the tagline “come home to better comfort,” leading air-conditioning manufacturer Hitachi introduced at the 2019 Dealers Convention at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City a new set of products expected to help its customers relax with ease.
Known for its three inverter components DC compressor, DC fan motor, and DC inverter module—that deliver a different kind of coolness and a lower consumption of power, Hitachi took another step toward innovation with its new state-of-the-art, air-conditioning units not just for offices, but also for commercial and domestic use.
The new Hitachi SetFree or the Gen 2, weighs 365 kgs and can be carried in elevators and easily installed in offices. It has a twin fan that can serve 40% cooler air than the single one, but has less power and a modular capacity of up to 96 horsepower.
It can deliver a maximum temperature up to 48 degrees Celsius more than the previous SetFree units, which can only produce up to 43 degrees Celsius.
Gen 2 includes a web-based operation device that can make its controls accessible to everyone wherever they might be in the building as long as they have the site.
Users can easily adjust the temperature or turn it on and off.
Hitachi also presented its other new products that are perfect for household, businesses, and industries, equipped with an environment-friendly refrigerant, R410A replacing the R-22, which exhibited a potential harm to the ozone layer.
For a small scale space, the Residential VRF System gives a cooling capacity from 4.1 to 8.6 kilowatts and will deliver Hitachi users not just the cool but also unlimited hot water supply they can use in washing dishes, taking a shower, or even taking a dip in the tub.
Its tank has the capacity of 100L to 400L that a user can utilize depending on their consumption.
This new product can as well be enjoyed in restaurants with real energy savings.
