Last weeek, we had the chance to see the AVP for Bihag, GMA Network’s newest afternoon soap. The video, which runs for several minutes, gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the drama that stars Max Collins, Jason Abalos, Mark Herras, Ryan Sees, Sophie Albert, and child actor Raphael Landicho.
The AVP presents the main cast: Max Collins is Jessie, a simple and loving wife and mother; Mark Herras is SPO1 Larry Pineda, an honest police officer and Jessie’s high school classmate; Jason Abalos is Brylle, Jessie’s perfect husband who is a pediatric surgeon; Neil Ryan Sese is Amado, a short-tempered man who mourns the loss of his daughter; Sophie Albert is Reign, the woman who will come between Jessie and Brylle; and Raphael Landicho plays the role of Ethan, Jessie and Brylle’s cheerful and cute son.
The first scenes feature fun bonding time of the small family until the drama starts to unfold. Every character has a defining moment and their acting instantly affected the viewers. Bihag is a thought-provoking tale of how one mistake can lead to another.
Jessie, Brylle and their son Ethan is the image of a happy family. Jessie is a loyal wife who chose to be a stay-at-home mommy blogger. Brylle, on the other hand, is a pediatric surgeon and her faithful husband. But when an unfortunate hostage-taking involving their son happens, lives are lost, betrayal arises, and soon they find themselves and their perfect family falling apart.
Innocent lives will be ruined and everything Jessie has will be taken away from her. How far will she go to take back what is rightfully hers? That’s what the series is going to answer as it unveils the interesting characters that are also “trapped in their own dilemmas and circumstances.”
The show’s creative team is composed of creative director Aloy Adlawan, creative consultant Kit Villanueva-Langit, concept creator and headwriter Suzette Doctolero, writers Zita Garganera, Jason John Lim, and John Roque, and brainstormers Honey Hidalgo and Brylle Tabora.

Whiff of Perfume’s limited edition fragrance
After three years of success, launching a re-imagined line in 2016 and adding a room spray line last year, on-line sensation artisanal fragrance line, Whiff of Perfume, launched a limited edition Cherry Blossom perfume.
Five years ago, the perfumery started selling blended artisanal fragrances on the popular social media app, Instagram. It all began when Whiff’s founder was heartbroken. After a trip to Grasse, France, she realized how powerful fragrances were and how they could evoke memories, both good and bad.
The perfumery that was born out of a painful break up, quickly gained a cult following on-line. Celebrities, tastemakers, influencers and perfume enthusiasts loved the sweet, subtle and long-lasting fragrances. They often compared it to international brands and appreciated the fact that Whiff did not break the bank.
Whiff successfully collaborated with Heart Evangelista and RJ Lopena; the first Filipino perfumer trained in the Grasse Institute of Perfumery; for the fashion icon’s first perfume project, Linger.
The Cherry Blossom fragrance bursts with the freshness and optimism of spring. This perfume starts with citrus and cherry notes, followed by a delicate cherry blossom heart, finishing with a powdery amber musk and green tea base that transports you to Tokyo at the height of the Hanami.
Their fragrances are perfect for people who wants to stand out in a crowd without breaking the bank. Whiff of Perfume also offers artisanal room sprays and for a limited time offer, scented candles, which they produced thru a partnership with Gawad Kalinga as a CSR project. It comes in four scents: Flora Bianca, Mango Verde, Green Tea and Mandarin Grove. They are available in Retail Lab in Glorieta 3 and Powerplant Mall, also in Market Liberty at Evia Lifestyle Center.
