The Philippine government’s campaign to rehabilitate Manila Bay gets a boost with the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System and South Korea’s Daegu Metropolitan City teaming up to address the problem of wastewater treatment.
MWSS Administrator Reynaldo V. Velasco will meet with the official delegation of the Water & Energy Division of Daegu on March 14 at the Makati Diamond Residences who will be attending the Asia Water Council Board of Council meeting in Manila.
MWSS is hosting the event with its concessionaires Manila Water, Maynilad and Luzon Clean Water Development Corporation.
Invited to the meeting with Daegu delegation are top officials of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Metro Development Authority, and congressional leaders from both houses of Congress.
