The recently concluded Nips Pop Fest 2018 saw fresh musical talents from passionate music-loving individual and groups that participated in the Nips at Heart jingle competition.
Five finalists from several entries were chosen to sing during the culminating event held at the TriNoma Activity Center in Quezon City.
Taking home the P100,000 grand prize was the acoustic cover of “Ang Banda ni Juan.”
The sibling duo “Game 4” placed second and won P50,000 cash prize. Game 4 also bagged the People’s Choice award as they garnered the most number of votes online and during the event. “The Uke” took the third spot and bagged the P30,000 cash prize.
The winners were judged based on musical arrangement (35 percent), voice quality (35 percent), people’s vote on Facebook and during the event (20 percent), and overall impact (10 percent).
Aside from the music competition and awarding ceremony, Jack ‘n Jill Nips treated its guest to a lineup of interactive activities. Arcade games, giant Nips dispenser, karaoke booth, and 360 photo booth were spread out in the venue for mall-goers to try and enjoy.
There were also various workshops where guests tried their hands at calligraphy, fashion styling, and food design.
