Fire hits National Children’s Hospital

THE Bureau of Fire Protection is looking into the cause of a 15-minute fire that struck the National Children’s Hospital in Quezon City on Thursday afternoon.

SFO4 Nelson Cortez, fire investigator, said the fire started at 12:55 p.m. at the hospital’s sixth floor.

The fire that reached the first alarm was put out at 1:05 p.m.

No one was reported hurt in the fire.

“We have to retrieve the motors of the exhaust fans at the second and sixth floors of the building,” Cortez told the Manila Standard.
