Construction of the 22-story JEG Tower One Acacia, the newest LEED pre-certified silver high-rise building in Cebu, kicked off recently with a groundbreaking ceremony led by JEG Development Corporation (JDC). At the event were top officials of the company and its partners, namely, Ricky Dakay, CEO, Dakay Construction; Marko Sarmiento, COO, JEG Development Corp; Michael McCullough, managing director, KMC Savills; Arch. Meloy Casas, managing partner, Casas Architects; Melo Porciuncula, executive director, KMC Savills; Vicente Palomares. project manager, KMC Savills; Tomas Tan, director, Arcadis; Gaylord Bongalon, senior Architect, Casas Architects; and Michael Hearn, director, Arcadis. “This building attests to our vision to build an eco-friendly structure, which can help the market shift toward a more sustainable design,” said Sarmiento.
