Home improvement enthusiasts, designers, and architects got a chance to learn various design ideas at the first SM Home Turnover Fair held at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier.
The SM Home Design Team, led by SM Home assistant vice president Tom Castañeda, created lifestyle spaces that inspired new homeowners to design their own homes.
“The official turnover of the keys to your new home is an exciting moment for any homeowner,” said Castañeda. “It’s the one time that you have your home in its care and pristine state—with the sky being the limit on how you decide to decorate your spaces.”
He said that after the turnover is “the best time to get professional advice on how to turn that bare space into the home of your dreams.”
The SM Home Turnover Fair was a culmination of SM Home’s efforts to expand its role—going beyond being a store by offering homeowners inspirational living spaces that are functional, livable, and beautiful.
During the event, top-notch architects Angelo Siochi and Marco Misa Torres and top interior designer Tito Villanueva highlighted space planning for compact space; while Leo Almeria, Lawrence Carlos, Carmen Lim-Regala, and Greggy Realeza Saliba gave great decorating tips and tricks to designing homes.
Young interior designers Iriss Mangio, Grace Moslares, Patricia Herbolario, Hannah Acab-Faustino, and Erika Uichanco shared the latest design trends and creative organizing ideas to condo living.
During the event, shoppers enjoyed great discounts from participating brands and had a free one-on-one design consultation with top interior designers in the country. They also participated in exciting DIY and home improvement workshops by Craft MNL.
