President Rodrigo Duterte and Special Assistant the President Secretary Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go welcomed and commended Team Pilipinas-San Beda after its victorious campaign in the recent Pacific Rim NCAA Basketball Championship 2018, beating Thailand, 50-40, in the finals. The players are tournament MVP Prince Alao, Lanze Ronquillo, Nathaniel Manarang, Deandre Larqueza, Jomel Yap, Yco Protacio, Tonnchie Conde, Dexter Alapar, Marlon Alcera, Red Caidic, Jabeth Lirazan, Marcus Espiritu and Carlo Bathan. They were accompanied by head coach Manu Inigo, team manager Joseph Ronquillo and consultant Rey Alao at the Palace.
