Sanitary products firm conducts beach cleanup in Boracay

On its fourth anniversary of operation in Boracay, Sanitary Care Products Asia, Inc. has taken up the initiative to save the island with its very own “Beach Clean Up Drive.”

Twelve volunteers including nine SCPA personnel, one merchandiser, one on-call housekeeping, and one intern joined the project.

In collaboration with Agape Boracay Academy Inc. and Church on the Rock, both headed by Teresa Atienza, SCPA volunteers picked up trash at Bolabog Back Beach in March 24, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 

This project ensures proper solid waste management for the safeguarding of both the environment and public health in Boracay.

Through the “Beach Clean Up Drive,” SCPA increases cooperation and public support in improving the island’s surroundings in terms of cleanliness and sanitation—as part of its advocacy of being The Hygienic Choice.

SCPA also conducted a feeding program, which provided children and families in the area with delicious and nutritious meals.
