A balanced attack from the Fuel Masters paved the way for their victory as a total of eight players scored in twin-digits, led by Matthew Wright, JC Intal and Justin Chua, who each scored 15 markers.

Right behind them are RJ Jazul and Gelo Alolino, who scored 13-apiece, while Doug Kramer and rookie Jason Perkins added 12 and Joseph Eriobu 11.

Phoenix now owns an improved 1-1 slate, while Kia dropped to 0-2 in the cellar.

It was all Phoenix from start to finish as it carved a quick double-digit lead, 22-11, in the latter part of the opening quarter before holding a 24-14 cushion after one.
