These activities were organized through the partnership of the Aboitiz Foundation and Edukasyon.Ph. The latter event was also held in coordination with the Department of Education’s Taguig-Pateros Division.

Senior high school students line up for the recent Career Clinic at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City and the Taguig Education Fair at the Lakeshore Hall in Taguig City.

The Career Clinic, participated by over 300 Aboitiz Foundation’s high school scholars in Metro Manila, highlighted interactive sessions that oriented the scholars and their parents with different tracks and employment opportunities available in today’s context in the country.

Meanwhile, the Senior High School Fair gathered over 2,000 Grade 12 high school students in Taguig and featured talks from Taguig’s Public Employment Service Office, Every Nation Campus, and the Department of Trade and Industry.

These activities support DepEd’s K-to-12 program and aim to provide additional knowledge that will help the students decide on their future career paths.

“The Aboitiz Foundation commits to continuously find better ways to help Filipino students to either study further, set up their businesses, or be employed,” said Maribeth Marasigan, Aboitiz Foundation First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

“We will also continue to build classrooms, upgrade school facilities, provide scholarships and teacher training, and other efforts that will encourage young Filipinos to become lifelong learners. This is our contribution to advancing business and communities by co-creating safe, empowered, and sustainable communities,” Marasigan added.
