BAGABAG, Nueva Vizcaya—The Department of Trade and Industry will be giving P119 million to the local government to undertake the concreting of a road project in Barangay Amballo here.

Mayor Tony Sevillena said the fund will be used for the development of the 3.5-kilometer national highway—Amballo Farm-to-Market Road Project.
“This will help our pineapple farmers in the barangay Amballo including other neighboring barangays. The road project will also support the activities of villagers managing the Pineapple Processing Center,” he said.
The PPC, Sevillena said, was earlier funded and built by pineapple food processors and the DTI to turn waste products into processed foods.
