PERFECTO Pakutkot of Speedjav Cabanatuan City clinched both the overall and the Production Front Wheel Best Time of the Day by clocking 49.96 in the second leg of the RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Slalom Invitational Challenge last Sept. 3 at the Robinsons Place, Calasiao, Pangasinan.
Second place was Jeff Capiral of Wholesome Concepts Baguio City with 50.76 seconds, followed by Glenn Suba of Speed Jav with 51.08.
Potchie Paikot came in fourth with 51.16 followed by Ram Rafanan of Globe Spade Racing Team (51.58) and Jhon Guintu of Wholesome (51.60).
Meanwhile, Rafanan also bagged the novice best time of 51.58.
The Production Rear Wheel Best Time of the Day went to Ritchie de Jesus of Speedjav Racing Team with his clocking of 51.58, followed by Paikot.
The 2017 RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Slalom Invitational is powered by Phoenix Premium ’98 and Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic motor oil and co-sponsored by Federal Tyres and Outlast Battery. It is also supported by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, media partners Stoplight TV, C! Magazine, Power Wheels Magazine, Auto Car Magazine, medical team Aeromed, Robinsons Malls and Robinsons Place Calasiao, Pangasinan.
The invitational event lured different clubs, headed by Corolla Auto Club Baguio, Speed Limits, Wholesome Concepts, Speed Jav, Greenlight La Union, MITTS, Globe Spade Racing Team and privateers from Tarlac and Pangasinan.
The third Phoenix Slalom Invitational will be on Oct. 8, still at Robinsons Calasiao Pangasinan.
Meanwhile, the ninth leg of the 2017 Phoenix National Slalom Series is slated on Sept. 10 at the NFA Compound in Cabanatuan City, through the assistance of Mayor Jay Vergara, Eugene Mintu, Michael Mendoza and Joey Vergara
