Enzo Pineda has come a long way since he started his showbiz career when he joined Starstruck in 2009. Since then, he has appeared in several TV shows and movies.
As a Kapamilya, he has accepted bigger projects and welcomes the challenge by staying motivated in delivering good performances.
His string of good career luck recently bagged him the status of being the new endorser of the Allegra’s Kitchen.
Enzo Pineda is now synonymous with Allegra’s Kitchen, a fast growing chain of restaurants that is on the verge of conquering a bigger market share in the casual dining segment of the industry.
Allegra’s Kitchen’s pioneer restaurant was founded on Sept. 8, 2015, in the Lifestyle Strip in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Backed by the enthusiastic patronage of its food offerings, Allegra’s Kitchen quickly grew to five branches: Sto. Tomas, Lipa City, Batangas City, Sta. Rosa, and San Pablo City in Laguna, in less than a couple of years.
This upswing in its operations is a testament of Allegra’s Kitchen’s commitment of serving “good food and good times.”
“We like the image and qualities of Enzo Pineda. His career is just taking off and we can see how he works hard to keep his momentum and reach greater heights. We can easily identify with that. Allegra’s is still new in the industry, but we are about to expand our operations in other provinces and very soon in Metro Manila. These are exciting times for us,” says Daiby Anne Bonifacio, Marketing Group head of Allegra’s Kitchen. “In the same manner, we are excited about Enzo’s TV show and his new project, as he is our new endorser,” she added.
Enzo Pineda appears in the ABS-CBN teleserye, Pusong Ligaw, and will soon have an acting role in an upcoming movie, Bar Boys.
As Allegra’s Kitchen’s first celebrity endorser, Enzo will also be busy with several in-store visits, attending outlet launches, and spearheading the “Ang Puso ko Nasa Allegra” promotional campaign.
“I love food and I am very honored to be chosen as the ambassador of Allegra’s Kitchen,” says Enzo. “Besides tasting its delicious food, knowing the history of Allegra’s Kitchen, and meeting the people behind its success were some of the best moments for me. I’m proud to be part of a family that focuses in providing good food and good service to its customers. Definitely, it’s always ‘good food for good times’ in Allegra’s Kitchen.”
No doubt, Enzo is into good food, which he gladly share this passion to his family. “Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. I love to cook for my family during my spare time. I have a lot of favorites, but I usually cook pasta in red or white sauce, grill burgers and steak for my family. I also bake on special occasions.”
Enzo founded in Allegra’s Kitchen such experience as “good food and good times” while surrounded by families and friends. “My ultimate favorite definitely is “Allegra’s double decker burger.” It is made from 100 percent pure beef patty and paired up with the freshest ingredients. Super yummy! And for dessert, my choice is the Nutella overload freak shake! It speaks for itself and it has the best ingredients for a shake,” says Enzo.
“Most of our ingredients are sourced locally,” shares Glen Mayhew Jr., assistant manager for Sales and Marketing. “And we do have our own commissary in Batangas so we can maintain the quality of our food. Our baby back ribs, however, are extra special since we import “Iberico” black pigs from Spain, known to be the best source of quality meat.” Aside from the baby back ribs, Allegra’s Kitchen’s specialties are burgers, pastas, and steaks, served in an ambience created by its rustic style and bright colored interiors that makes for an inviting and relaxing restaurant.
Allegra’s Kitchen was a dream come true for Dr. Gerry Malvar Castillo, an anesthesiologist at the Makati Medical Center. A direct descendant of the revolutionary, General Miguel Malvar of Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Castillo loves good food and to travel in and out of the country. These made him try different cuisines and different tastes, which drove him to put up his own restaurant where “good food and good times” were the priorities.
Since the good doctor wanted his customers to have a happy experience in his kitchen, Allegra was chosen as part of the restaurant’s name, because it means “happy” in Spanish. Dr. Castillo wanted a casual dining place with dishes such as burgers, pasta and rice silog. As their monthy promotional dishes were well received by the customers, these were incorporated permanently in their present menu.
“We have very good feedback from our customers, mostly working professionals and students who are food enthusiasts, so we are definitely expanding our operations. We plan to open 10 branches this year. We are also open for franchising. Actually, our SM San Lazaro outlet is our first franchise store,” says Bonifacio. “We welcome franchisees to our family. We are looking for highly motivated and hands-on operators or managers who share the same values with Allegra’s Kitchen, who are committed to quality and service. With our expertise and full support, for sure, you’ll be having good times with us when you become a franchisee of Allegra’s Kitchen.”
