A boy unloads sacks of garlic from a tricycle in Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila on Saturday. Senator Cynthia Villar recently reprimanded government officials and businessmen with regards to importation and controlling the supply of garlic. Villar said that based on her study, prices of garlic have reached P200 to P300 per kilo.
