PLDT Inc. expanded its fiber-to-the-home services in eastern part of Metro Manila by adding over 70,000 lines.
PLDT’s FTTH roll-out covered the cities of Antipolo, Marikina, Pasig, Taguig, Caloocan and the towns of Taytay, Cainta, and Pateros, enabling residents from villages like Barangay Kaunlaran in Caloocan, Antipolo Hills Subdivision, Greenbreeze Phase 2 and 2A in Marikina and Greenwoods Executive Village in Pasig.
“PLDT Home continues its efforts to create Fibr-powered PLDT Smart Cities nationwide to enrich the lives of more Filipinos through our innovative digital services and connectivity solutions,” PLDT first vice president and Home Business head Oscar Enrico Reyes Jr. said.
Reyes said the network rollout in East Metro Manila would provide powerful connections and top-of-the-line services to benefit both residents and businesses.
“Our vision is to make Fibr-fast internet available to 4.4 million homes by the end of the year and we are working very hard to realize this vision,” he said.
