Passengers of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) are complaining about the fare rate increase.
The fare hike was implemented during the weekend.

From ten (10) pesos, the minimum fare has gone up to fifteen (15) pesos.
Commuters at Espana Station in Manila are complaining that PNR’s service is quite poor.
They say, the trains are unreliable and do not arrive on time.
Passengers note, it takes a long interval before the next train arrives.
They also say, PNR trains frequently experience malfunctions and that riding the PNR trains is quite uncomfortable.
PNR trains run from Tutuban station in Manila to Calamba station in Laguna.
