Passengers sit comfortably aboard a PNR train at the Tutuban station on Friday. The state-run railways will implement a fare increase starting on Saturday, July 1, 2017. The increase will be from P10 to a minimum of P15 for the first 14 kilometers and an additional P5 for every zone traveled or seven kilometers per zone. Lino Santos
