President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Court of Appeals Associate Justice Noel Tijam to the Supreme Court.
The Palace released his appointment paper on Wednesday afternoon.

Tijam is filling the post vacated by retired SC Associate Justice Arturo Brion.
He was a classmate of Duterte at the San Beda College of Law.
Tijam is the President’s second appointee to the high tribunal.
