Before she relinquished her crown in January, former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach announced that she’s going to be in New York more often being the MUO’s ambassador. She has also officially signed a management contract with IMG, the modeling agency that owns the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant.

As her career continues to flourish, the 27-year-old beauty queen will also sit as one of the judges in the upcoming season of Asia’s Next Top Model.

Pia Wurtzbach will sit as one of the judges in the top-rating reality modeling show, "Asia's Next Top Model"

Wurtzbach posted on Instagram a photo of her posing with a black t-shirt with Asia’s Next Top Model printed on it. In the caption she said, “Catch the season premiere of @asntm on April 5 as I judge to find Asia’s Next Top Model.”

Her inclusion in the hit reality modeling competition started out as a rumor when Wurtzbach was photographed in Singapore in December. It was the same time when people speculated that she’s dating Karting Champion Marlon Stockinger.

The new season will be hosted by Cindy Bishop, Yu Tsai will sit as the show’s creative director, and model mentor Cara G. McIlroy will join Wurtzbach as part of the judging panel.

Meanwhile, three Filipino models are competing in Cycle 5 of the hit show: Jennica Sanchez, a 20-year-old graduate of Fashion Design and Marketing; Anjelica Santillan, 22, an aspiring flight attendant; and Maureen Wroblewitz, 18, a Filipino-German model who recently moved to the country.
