Social Security System (SSS) Chairman Amado Valdez announces that SSS pensioners are receiving today the initial P 1,000 additional benefit.
This represents the increase that pensioners were supposed to receive in January this year.
Valdez also reports, pensioners will get a second amount of P 1,000 on March 10 or on Friday next week.
This represents the delayed benefit for the month of February.
Then, for the third time this month, on March 17 (Friday), pensioners will again receive P 1,000.
The represents the additional benefit for the current month of March.
Pensioners will get a total of P 3,000 in additional benefits this month.
Valdez says, the delay in the release of additional benefit for SSS pensioners has a good effect.
“Napaganda naman kasi naipon yung ipinangako ng ating Pangulo at P 3,000 and nabuong additional benefit nila (this is better because it resulted in savings in the amount promised by President Duterte),” Valdez notes.
