At least 10 out of over a hundred victims in the ongoing blaze at the Economic Processing Zone in Rosario, Cavite are in critical condition.
Cavite Governor Crispin Jesus Remulla says, the 10 victims are suffering from second to third degree burns.
The victims are being treated at Divine Grace Medical Center.
Fire has been ongoing since 6 pm Wednesday.
Firefighters say, it may take until this afternoon before the blaze can be put out.
Three persons remain missing.
No fatality has been reported at this time.
The blaze continues at the House Technology Industries (HTI), a factory producing pre-fabricated housing components being exported to Japan.
The incident reportedly began at the second floor of the building.
Governor Crispin Jesus Remulla says, initial reports indicate that the incident started from a machine used for insulation.
“Sana ma-fire out namin ito before 4 pm (I hope the fire can be put out by 4 pm),” he said.
Remulla says, HTI is among the most important and generous companies in Cavite.
"They are even providing housing for residents of Cavite," Remulla says.
HTI has about 15,000 employees.
Some 6,000 personnel were reportedly on duty when the fire struck.
Remulla says, some Japanese executives were also injured.
He adds, they jumped off the building after supervising the exit of the employees from the burning factory.
