President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to announce this afternoon his decision on the proposed Social Security System pension hike for retirees.
A press conference is set at 4 pm in Malacañang.

The issue on the proposed P 2,000 SSS pension hike was discussed in a cabinet meeting on Monday.
The President's economic advisers earlier expressed apprehension over the issue, saying it will put the viability of the SSS at risk.
Meanwhile, at 2 pm, ambassadors from countries in Africa will pay courtesy calls to the Chief Executive.
The diplomats will be given arrival honors at the Palace before they submit their credentials.
