The plunder case against Former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo relating to the P 900-million Malampaya Fund Scam has been dismissed.
Ombdusman Cochita Carpio Morales ruled that the National Bureau of Investigation failed to prove that Arroyo conspired with other respondents to commit an illegal diversion of funds.

Morales also declared that there was no irregularity in the transaction.
Other respondents in the case have also been cleared.
They are Former Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita and Department of Agrarian Reform officials Dominador Sison and Nilda Baui.
