Pangasinan biz aid

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—The provincial government has distributed P3.345 million in livelihood assistance checks to 26 businesses under its Livelihood Assistance Program in a ceremony at the Urduja House inside the Capitol Compound here.

 A total of 23 multi-purpose cooperatives and three micro, small and medium enterprises, comprising 913 individual beneficiaries received the checks, the sixth time it’s been done in 2016 and the second under the administration of Gov. Amado “Pogi” Espino III.

Espino said the province is committed to the flagship poverty-reduction program initiated by his predecessor, current 5th District Rep. Amado Espino Jr., which seeks to aid local entrepreneurs.
