Yen Santos is finally back on primetime with the sultry soap Magpahanggang Wakas with Jericho Rosales and Arci Muñoz.

Since joining the soap in the last week of October as the friendly damsel-in-distress Issa Ordoñez, Yen has been lauded by netizens for her exceptional acting and sharp comedic timing. Some raved about her improved acting and growing star factor since coming out of the famous yellow house in 2010.

The show has gained a solid following since its debut, as seen on it’s strong pilot episode rating of 25.1 percent and a peak rating of 26.8 on Sept. 20, according to Kantar Media.

Former PBB Teen Clasher Yen Santos elated to work with Jericho Rosales in 'Magpahanggang Wakas'

“Hindi ko po in-expect na papasok ako sa show. Biglaan lang po talaga. Nung sinabi sakin na-excite po ako sobra kasi gusto ko po talagang makatrabaho si Echo,” she said.

Being part of  Magpahanggang Wakas is Yen’s first time to work with Jericho.

“Thankful po ako kasi ang bilis ko po naging komportable sa kanya kasi ang bait nya. Ang gaan nya po katrabaho,” Yen added

The Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 housemate is no stranger though to being paired with bankable leading men on primetime.

Yen’s first brush as a headlining-leading lady happened in 2014 through the local adaptation of the Korean series of the same name Pure Love opposite Joseph Marco, Matt Evans, and Arjo Atayde, together with Alex Gonzaga

Late last year, Yen once again proved her acting prowess through the primetime soap All of Me with JM de Guzman and Albert Martinez.

Meanwhile, apart from her soap Yen’s fans can watch out for on her first ever movie opposite Piolo Pascual titled Once In A Lifetime.

The new tandem left for New Zealand a couple of months ago to film several scenes of their movie. Yen happily shared that their film is already 60 percent completed.

“Sobrang memorable po ng experience kasi first movie ko po ito, sa New Zealand pa at si Papa P pa ang kasama ko,” she gushed.

The 23-year-old star unabashedly confessed that she initially had a hard time working on the film, but for good reasons.

“Hindi po naging madali sakin nung una kasi natutulala po ako palagi kay Papa P. Sobrang gwapo nya po,” said Yen. “Sobrang surreal lahat.”

Yen has yet to reveal a play date for their film, which she says is a beautiful love story.

In the meantime, catch more of Yen Santos in Magpahanggang Wakas, weekdays after FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
