The Senate Committee on Justice has resumed its hearings on alleged extra-judicial killings.
Newly-installed Committee Chairman Richard Gordon, who was initially reluctant to take the post, is presiding over the proceeding.

Ousted committee chairman Leila De Lima is joining the hearing.
Gordon is now calling on witness Edgar Matobato to testify.
Matobato claimed in a previous hearing that as a former member of the so-called Davao Death Squad, he had killed several criminals allegedly on orders of then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
