Let’s pretend that you've just won the lottery. Being a gear head, on  top of your “to do” things might probably  include  upgrading your car, and replacing that heap of junk sitting in your garage. But  if you really want to make it ASAP to the local  Triple A-List, here are two of the most expensive and exclusive cars in the planet.

Having just one of these babies sitting in your garage will elevate you superstardom. The sheer brutality of the total package of each super car is a guaranteed 'babe magnet' and will definitely level up your  cool factor and driving enjoyment.

Shaped by the wind

Pagani Huayra: Shaped by the wind

According to the ancient legends of the Aymara, Huayra Tata is the God of wind, who commands the breezes, winds, and blizzards that invade the mountains, cliffs and hills of the Andean highlands. Legend has it that Huayra Tata resides deep in the high peaks and valleys, abandoning them only to demonstrate his power to his wife, Pachamama, Goddess of mother earth.

Elegant and muscular the Pagani Huayra merges the past, present and future in a timeless interpretation of automotive art. The styling of the car was perfected over the course of 5 years to find each line’s beginning and end. During this study, eight scale models were created, as well as two 1:1 models, each an evolution of the previous in a never ending quest to perfect the form and refining the substance. The bi-xenon headlamps are just one of the many precious gifts from the Zonda R, and LED daytime running lights are seamlessly integrated in the elliptical shape of the design. The rear bumper integrates with the diffuser and is dominated by an elliptical frame that surrounds the four central exhaust outlets, now becoming a characteristic Pagani element.

The new central monocoque on the Huayra is an entirely new design made from carbon titanium. However, with the gull wing doors cutting deep into the roof, much research was focused on achieving the highest levels of rigidity through the application of new advanced composite materials and technologies first tested on the Zonda R. The fuel tank is located integrally in the best protected area of the monocoque, behind the driver, reinforced by safety cell made of different composite and ballistic materials. The front and rear CrMo subframes offer an exceptional rigidity-to-weight ratio to allowing the suspensions to work at their best while incorporating an advanced energy absorbing crash structure, ready to protect the occupants in the unlikely event of an impact.

At the heart of Horacio Pagani’s beast lies a 60 degree 12 cylinder turbocharged M158 engine from Mercedes Benz. With a displacement of 5980, the car has been developed to meet the strictest technical and quality requirements, but also to give the car its many faces.  The calm and harmony of driving one of the world’s most refined GT car is interrupted when the driver calls upon the Huayra to unleash its 700 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. The engine’s systems have been designed and tested to stand up to the most adverse conditions of temperature and performance. The Huayra has been subjected to the highs of Death Valley and the lows of the Arctic Circle.

A set of grip happy Pirelli’s assure complete control for the driver specifically developed for the Huayra. The Pirelli engineers were faced with a demanding task, combining road holding for excitement behind the steering wheel and lower rolling resistance to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. These P Zero tires are built in a dedicated MIRS™ (Modular Integrated Robotized System) facility, dedicated to the production of ultrahigh performance tires and are at the forefront of what is technically possible, suited to top speeds above 370 kph as well as to lateral forces exceeding 1.5 G.

To this date five prototypes have been built which have been conducting road tests for the past 4 years. Currently, over half a million kilometers have been covered by our prototypes and before entering the US market we will have reached one million test kilometers.

Magic 6 for the Ferrari Sergio

Ferrari Sergio: Pininfarina will build only six of these  supercars.

This Italian design house has long been associated with supercar designs and most of its works are mobile pieces of art. Designed by Pininfarina, just six of this incredibly limited edition Ferrari Sergio roadsters are being built. The car was created to celebrate the spirit and core values of the historic Cambiano company in the 60th anniversary year of its collaboration with the Prancing Horse. Needless to say, Sergio was the only possible choice of name for the model, in homage to great Sergio Pininfarina, who sealed the unique, longstanding partnership with Ferrari. The first Ferrari Sergio was delivered to the United Arab Emirates to its owner, the SBH Royal Auto Gallery in the UAE, at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit, home to the Ferrari World theme park.

The Ferrari Sergio is a genuinely radical car. It is both exclusive and spare in the sense that every single element aboard is focused entirely on performance. An authentic open-top, it explicitly references the track, underscoring and intensifying its sense of sportiness, fun behind the wheel and the pleasure of design at its purest.

The Ferrari Sergio’s performance and dynamics are excellent in the extreme too. It is based on the 458 Spider and is powered by the latest 605 hp version of Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 4497 cc V8 which has won the International Engine of the Year award on three consecutive occasions. This power unit also guarantees the car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds.

The Ferrari Sergio has an extremely simple, clear style. Both its volumes and treatments of its surfaces reflect the spirit of Pininfarina’s 1960s and 70s creations for Ferrari. The result is an exceptionally sculptural, three-dimensional take on the classic roadster. At the front of the car, Pininfarina has integrated the headlights in a classic move, turning them into a single transparent transverse element, a signature of the car’s extreme formal purity. At the rear, the circular tail lights are another modern nod to Ferrari history.

Each one of the six Ferrari Sergios was configured by its owner in dedicated sessions at the Tailor Made atelier in Maranello where clients are invited to personalize their cars to their own individual tastes. The atelier offers enormous freedom of choice in terms of colours, materials and finishes. As a result, every detail is extremely exclusive, thereby continuing the Prancing Horse tradition begun in the 1950s and 60s of creating bespoke cars minutely tailored to each client’s wishes.
