Party-list group launches pioneering youth program in Cotabato City, Iligan

The Tingog Party-list recently launched a pioneer youth empowerment initiative in Cotabato and Iligan.

The first launch event was at Golden Lace Resto, Cotabato City, Maguindanao del Norte on June 19, 2024, with 70 participants. The initiative aimed to engage the local youth to train them as community leaders who can shape the country’s future. It highlighted the role of the youth’s voice in setting the stage for activities and projects.

The second launch event, the TINGOG Kabataan L.I.F.E. Camp, followed on June 20, 2024, at San Miguel Village in Pala-o, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. It focused on Leadership, Innovation, Fellowship, and Empowerment by providing the 60 participants with valuable skills and knowledge to become leaders and changemakers in the community.

“We believe in the role of the youth in shaping communities. This initiative is in line with Tingog’s commitment to creating change, one community at a time,” said Tingog Rep. Jude Acidre.

TINGOG Kabataan is dedicated to empowering young people through its programs, workshops, and activities, tailored to enhance their leadership abilities and build a sense of community. By providing opportunities for growth and development, TINGOG Kabataan aims to inspire the next generation of leaders and influencers.

“We are excited for the future of TINGOG Kabataan as we aim to reach more local communities’ youth. We believe that the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the changemakers of today,” Acidre added.
