The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station Rizal has launched a probe on two passenger motor bancas racing against each other while ferrying passengers at the Laguna Lake off Binangonan town in Rizal.
The motorboats were detained until their skippers have completed the required safety seminar on top of penalties they would likely suffer.
The PCG reminded the motorboat operators, owners and crew leaders on the vital role they play in providing safe journeys for the passengers.
Also, any kind of reckless action will not be tolerated according to the PCG.
