SSI celebrates 30th year with enhanced digital presence and promos

In 1988, the Stores Specialist, Inc. Group brought in Marks & Spencer, Lacoste, and Salvatore Ferragamo to the Philippines, allowing shoppers access to these global luxury brands. Thirty years later, SSI will be launching a website and a mobile app to make it easier to shop from its now over a hundred global brands.

“Celebrating our 30th year this 2018, we are poised to enhance the life of every Filipino as we continue to deliver our well-curated range of specialty and lifestyle concepts,” said SSI Group president Anton Huang during the SSI 30th anniversary media launch.

He added, “We celebrate this milestone with The Curated Life, a campaign that seeks to inspire, enable, indulge, and rally our customers to live a life well lived.”

As the retail arm of the Rustan’s Group of Companies, the SSI Group specializes in high-end specialty stores and is the exclusive franchise distributor of leading international brands. It currently has a retail network of over 600 stores covering 129,000 square meters of retail space for its brands, including Aeropostale, Burberry, Gap, Hermes, Tod’s, and Zara, to name a few.

“Maintaining our thrust to bring the best to the Philippines, the SSI Group continues to refine the art of Philippine lifestyle as the number one specialty retailer in the country,” said Huang.

Acknowledging the importance of e-commerce as well as the growing number of millennial, digital-savvy consumers, the retail group is gearing towards further strengthening its online presence.

The Stores Specialists, Inc. Group kicks off its 30th-anniversary celebration with ‘The Curated Life’ campaign.
In October, SSI will be relaunching its website, ssilife.com.ph. The multibrand site will serve as a shopping channel and will feature lifestyle articles that deliver informative and inspiring content to help shoppers decide better.

Consumers may navigate through three categories—Fashion, Beauty, and Home—and discover the latest collections from brands, behind-the-scenes highlights from exclusive shows, skincare and makeup how-to videos featuring local influencers, and guides on home and lifestyle.

SSI will also launch the My SSI Life app in August. This mobile application allows users to earn points every time they shop as well as get access to latest trends, promos, and perks.
