As the peak travel season of Holy Week approaches, Cebu Pacific (CEB) remains committed to ensuring a safe and seamless journey for its passengers.
To help you prepare, here are essential reminders:
• Check the airport terminal assignment of your flight: Double-check your itinerary and boarding pass for your flight number (5J, DG, or T6) and corresponding Manila terminal:
5J (Cebu Pacific jets): NAIA Terminal 3
DG (Cebgo turboprops): NAIA Terminal 2 (except Manila-Siargao/Masbate flights, now from Clark)
T6 (AirSWIFT turboprops): NAIA Terminal 2
• Be on time at the airport: Beat the Holy Week rush! Be at the airport at least 3 hours before domestic flights and 4 hours before international flights (7 hours for Dubai). Check-in closes 45 mins (domestic) and 1 hour (international) before departure. Head straight to security and boarding after check-in (boarding starts 45 mins before departure).
• Check in online: Skip the queues! Use the CEB mobile app or website (Manage Booking) to check in 48 hours to 1 hour before domestic flights and up to 2 hours before international flights. Domestic passengers with online check-in and no baggage can use NAIA T3 Gate 1 directly with their digital boarding pass. Online check-in counters at NAIA T3 are Aisles A (A1-A15), while regular counters are A17-A29 and B1-B15.
• Complete eTravel for international: For smoother immigration, fill out the eTravel form (www.etravel.gov.ph) within 72 hours before departure AND arrival to the Philippines. Save the QR code (you’ll need to do this twice for round trips). Complete the Customs Declaration Form before arrival and keep your eTravel QR code for scanning after baggage claim.
• Understand baggage rules: You get one free carry-on (overhead bin) and one personal item (under the seat), both totaling 7kg or less. Overweight/oversized bags will be charged at the gate. Save money by pre-purchasing baggage online (up to 4x cheaper, up to 3 pieces at 20kg each, with options for extra weight). Buy additional baggage online up to 2 hours before departure.
• Self-Tag Your Luggage (Select Domestic): If flying from Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Coron, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Manila, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, or Zamboanga, use the self-tag kiosks before dropping your bags. Self-bag drop kiosks are also at NAIA T3 and Clark.
