Senior Citizen Wins ₱17.9-M Mega Lotto 6/45 Jackpot

A senior citizen claimed the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot prize worth ₱17,977,214.41 on March 6, 2026, at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The winning combination 12-25-45-40-33-27 was drawn on March 2, 2026.

The winner, a former construction worker and a regular lotto bettor for the past 10 years, said he was surprised when he discovered that he had won the jackpot while watching the live lotto draw.

He shared that he often gets “balik-taya” when playing the lotto, but was surprised to finally win the jackpot, which he plans to save for his children’s future and invest part of it in a business.

Meanwhile, PCSO reminds the public that to claim prizes, winners must sign the back of the winning ticket, present two valid government-issued IDs, and personally claim their prize at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.A close-up of a ticket

Prizes exceeding ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% tax under the TRAIN Law. Jackpot prizes must be claimed within one year from the draw date, as mandated by Republic Act No. 1169; otherwise, unclaimed prizes are forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund, which supports health and welfare programs nationwide.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 draws are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 p.m., and are broadcast live on IBC-13, D8TV, and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
