A senior citizen claimed the ₱45,000,000.00 Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot prize at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Main Office in Mandaluyong City on March 6, 2026.
The winning combination 09-23-03-49-50-01, drawn on February 21, 2026, was initially recorded as having two jackpot winners. However, it turned out that both winning tickets belonged to the same person, making the bettor the sole recipient of the entire jackpot.
According to the winner, the combination consisted of her favorite numbers, which she had been playing for years. She said she placed a bet on February 19, 2026, but forgot she had already played it, leading her to place another bet with the same numbers the following day at a different outlet.
When the numbers were drawn, both tickets matched the winning combination, giving her two jackpot-winning tickets. The winner said she plans to share part of her prize with relatives who are currently ill and use the rest for her personal needs.
To claim the lotto jackpot, winners must sign the back of the winning ticket, present two valid government-issued IDs, and personally claim their prize at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
Prizes exceeding ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% tax under the TRAIN Law. Jackpot prizes must be claimed within one year from the draw date, as mandated by Republic Act No. 1169; otherwise, unclaimed prizes are forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund, which supports health and welfare programs nationwide.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 draws are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:00 p.m., and are broadcast live on IBC-13, D8TV, and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
