True to its commitment to helping Filipinos to be equipped during times of disasters, MR.DIY recently launched the Shop. Donate. Save campaign, which encourages customers to help generate 4,000 Go Bags for Filipino families living in disaster-prone areas in the country.
So how can you help create 4,000 Go Bags?
From June 4 to 30, 2023, shoppers can buy any MR.DIY’s Buy 1, Donate 1 Bundle in 300 participating stores nationwide. Upon purchase, customers can then drop the freebies that come with their purchase in the donation boxes found in the store.
The Go Bags, which will be distributed in select areas in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, will contain the donation items such as flashlights, batteries, whistles, water bottles, can openers, plastic cutleries, drinking water, hygiene products, and face towels.
Customers can only buy five bundles per day, so you can tag along your friends to further this cause.
MR.DIY advocating for disaster preparedness
The country’s favorite family store for home improvement has partnered with Alagang Kapatid Foundation, the CSR arm of TV5, in preparation for National Disaster Preparedness Month in September.
Team Kramer, MR.DIY brand ambassadors, also encourage fellow shoppers to take an active role in this campaign, emphasizing the importance of every family member’s safety.

The Shop. Donate. Save. campaign is part of the company’s umbrella corporate social responsibility initiative, the Acts of Kindness Program (A-OK). This effort is under one of the four program pillars, specifically Disaster Preparedness.
