Mika Salamanca, winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, released her new single “Kasalanan” on Feb. 6, immediately hitting the No. 1 spot on iTunes Philippines and earning a place on Spotify and Billboard Philippines’ New Music Fridays.
The track, written by Star Music artists Jeremy G and WRIVE members Russu Laurente and Ishiro Incapas, explores the thrill of falling in love freely, without concern for others’ opinions. Mika also dedicated the song to her fans, calling it a “love letter” to those who have supported her.
In the official music video, Mika teams up with actor Anthony Jennings in a mafia-inspired, action-packed love story. Mika credited Anthony for guiding her through the stunts, adding that his experience in action roles made him “perfect for the role.”

“Kasalanan” debuted on national television through It’s Showtime, featuring a performance by Mika and the girl group Femme MNL. She also performed the song live at the Wonderful Moments Music Festival at SMDC Grounds alongside Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Gloc-9, BINI, and Cup of Joe.
The new single follows Mika’s earlier release, “Sino Nga Ba Siya,” which topped iTunes charts in the Philippines and UAE, gained recognition in Singapore, Cambodia, and Qatar, and reached the top 10 of Spotify’s Viral Songs chart with over 5 million streams. She also collaborated with fellow PBB winner Brent Manalo on “What If Tayo?,” which led the MYX Daily Top 10 and has over 1.1 million views on YouTube.
