Actress Marian Rivera is spreading the love this Valentine’s Day, and this time, her fans are part of the plan.
The actress caught attention after posting “Love yourself in something timeless” on social media, prompting speculation about what she meant. When we caught up with Marian at the opening of the third Pop Mart permanent store in the country at SM North EDSA The Block on Feb. 13, we asked if there was a hidden message behind the post and about her Valentine’s plans.
“Valentine’s plan, we have at home, but this time we are spending it with Team Marian and Team Dong, we’ll celebrate with them,” Marian said, hinting at a special gathering with supporters of both her and husband Dingdong Dantes.
But romance is not the only thing keeping her busy.
During the interview, Marian also shared updates on season two of Stars on the Floor, her current show on GMA Network, which features P-pop dance stars.
“We’re going to have new pairings, and that’s what keeps me excited talaga. Excited ako to know them more and see them shine,” she said.
As one of the judges this season, the 41-year-old star offered advice to the contestants as they continue in the competition.
“Ang mahalaga sa akin as a performer dapat they enjoy the journey and everytime na sumasayaw sila they enjoy it, no pressure, and I like them to just be themselves,” she added, saying they have just wrapped up the first battle round.
Stars On The Floor Season 2 returns with a new lineup of celebrity contestants, including a Kapuso leading man, a multi-awarded actress, a dance royalty heir, an Asian idol and a former member of an original girl group. Also joining the competition are performers from P-Pop groups 1st.One, Alamat, KAIA, Calista, and Hori7on.
The show is hosted by Alden Richards. Joining Marian in the judging panel are Jay Roncesvalles, known for work with SB19, and dancer-actor Rayver Cruz.
The program will air every Sunday starting Feb. 15 at 7:15 p.m., following Bubble Gang.
