iWant has launched its first original microdrama for 2026, Runaway Love, following the unexpected romance between a Filipina domestic helper and an exiled prince.
Analain Salvador stars as Jane, a young domestic worker in the Kingdom of Alvar who helps Prince Tim, played by Rob Blackburn, escape after a civil war topples the royal family. Jane brings Tim to her hometown in the Philippines, where he must adapt to life without wealth and privilege.

While in hiding, Tim experiences working-class Filipino life, and a romance develops between him and Jane. Their plans for a new life are threatened when an assassin loyal to the new regime tracks them down.
Runaway Love premieres Thursday, Jan. 15, on iWant.
