Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) marked the start of retail sales for its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in the country, the all-new bZ4X, with the initial release of units made last December 11. Offered in a single variant, pricing for the bZ4X starts at P2,699,000 for the Dark Blue Mica/Attitude Black Mica colorway and reaches up to P2,719,000 for the Precious Metal/Attitude Black Mica and Emotional Red/Attitude Black Mica combinations. Each bZ4X purchase also comes with a wall box charger and a portable charger.

The all-wheel drive (AWD) electric SUV is powered by a dual-motored 73.11kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, producing a front output of 227PS, 269Nm of torque; a rear output of 120PS, 170Nm of torque; and an estimated maximum EV range of 570km. Some features of the bZ4X include 20-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic moonroof, power back door with a kick sensor, a 7-inch Digital Meter Cluster and Multi-Information Display, a 14-inch Display Audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the latest version of the Toyota Safety Sense suite.
