QC logs 85%-decrease in dengue cases so far

The Quezon City government has recorded 62 dengue cases from January 1 to January 8.

The Quezon City Epidemiology and Surveillance Division, however, said the dengue incidence was 85-percent lower than last year’s figure for the same period.

Almost half of the patients (44 percent) were aged 20 and below.

No fatality was reported due to dengue this year.
