The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has reported the continued ash emissions and occurrences of volcanic earthquakes at Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island over the past 24 hours from Saturday midnight to Sunday midnight.
Two ash emission events were recorded, lasting 12 to 13 minutes each.

At least 12 volcanic tremors were also monitored, one of them lasting five minutes.
The volcano released 2,302 tons of sulfur dioxide a day and a moderate 150-meter tall plume that drifted southwest, Phivolcs said.
Kanlaon’s edifice also stayed inflated.
Alert Level 3 remained hoisted over the volcano.
